[GONE/SOLD to an Eagle] Does anyone know of a worthy - eg youth training, club kit cupboard - group looking for a used, very good condition ice axe?
It’s for sale on Facebook, but I’d let it go for the postage to an Eagles related cause.
Ad: Ice axe/walking axe for winter mountain adventures, I bought this new and it’s been used about 20 days in Scottish and Welsh winters. 53cm overall length. (Nominal 50cm axe?) Complete with leash in excellent undamaged condition - I removed the leash after a couple of walks so it’s almost unused. Pick, adze and point are clean and sharp. Slight paint scratches on shaft.
NOTE: this is rated B (basic) so good for ice and snow walking, cutting steps, fall arrest, building snow anchors, etc not a technical (T) climbing axe.
